I found out about Pacifica last year at a networking/funraiser for the Greater San Fernando Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. It's always great to be welcomed with such enthusiasm when going to any function at a new place. But, this was different. Everyone I met not only was cordial and professional at the Pacifica, they were all very sincere. I have referred a few people that need memory care and a couple that just needed assisted living. All have come back to me with the same impression about Pacifica.
I asked if the food we had at the dinner was made by the chefs of Pacifica...Needless to say, after this was confirmed, I know the residents are getting fed some tasty meals!!

I moved my 100 year old mother to this facility after she had been evicted from her previous board and care home for disturbing the other residents and I was feeling hopeless about ever finding a place where she could live out her days in peace and receive good care. After six months here, I can only say "Thank You" to the "Welcome Home!" we have received and after having moved Mom 3 times in 2013 and finally finding a home for her I will be forever grateful to all the loving staff and administrators at Pacifica. I am a retired LVN who worked in Skilled Nursing for 28 years and so I really know all the in's and out's of this business and I am happy to report that this facility is very well managed and clean and attractive and that the staff is very caring and loving.

Pacifica Senior Living Northridge is an amazing, caring place, where residents get the best, heart-felt, loving care. From the moment my dad started living there, we felt right at home and well cared for. My dad is 92 and has Alzheimer's/dementia, but I never worry about him anymore - I know that the sweet, caring staff is always keeping a close eye on him. No matter what time of day I get there, the staff knows exactly where he is and how he is doing. They also have many ongoing activities every day which help to entertain and stimulate the residents physically, mentally, and emotionally. It truly is a home environment with the most caring, patient, and kind staff.

I recommend Northridge Pacifica Senior Living without reservation to any family seeking a safe, clean, supportive environment for their loved ones. My father suffers from dementia and was having great difficulty living with caregivers 24/7. He was unhappy and did not connect well with his caregivers. Now that he is at Pacifica, his entire outlook has changed. He is happy, feels supported, and is engaged. He is venturing out with other seniors on their outings, and is connecting well with the residents and staff. Pacifica staff are wonderful, and treat the residents with care, respect, and affection. The facility is clean, and well managed. I have popped in to visit my father unannounced numerous times, and have found it is always in excellent condition.
Stacy Dawes helped me through the transition, and set things up to minimize stress for my father and me. I searched for a facility for almost two years, leaving many in tears because I could not fathom placing my father there.
When I found Northridge Pacifica and visited it, my reaction was totally different from that of other facilities. From my first visit, it felt warm, inviting, and clean. The staff were vigilant in monitoring the residents, and patient with them in their day to day activities.
Pacifica also monitors my father's health and reports to me regularly any changes in his demeanor, or physical well-being. I am comfortable knowing he is well cared for. The best feedback I received is from my father himself. He told me he likes it there, and is very happy.
